Herb wrote this song while attending Keoki Kahumoku's music workshop in Pahala back in November of 2010. For 2 days, everyone stayed down at Punalu'u Beach Park for activities. With the beautiful landscape and the sounds of the waves, gave Herb the inspiration for this song.
In February of 2011, Herb was asked to be interviewed and filmed for a Japan TV show called, "Hawai'i Ni Koishite" (Falling in love with Hawai'i). While being filmed at Magic Island, Herb performed this song overlooking the sunset. Soon after, the producers of the show wanted to use "Nalu" for one of their theme songs.
This is Herb's first ever single in over 21 years in the music business. We hope that you enjoy listening to this song. It brings Hawai'i to you no matter where you are!
